Precious pink sapphire
In addition to the noble blue colors of sapphires, there are many different types of colors of these amazing minerals. Corundums with pink, yellow, purple, green, violet and lilac tones are called fancy sapphires. Specimens of pink, lilac and violet colors are truly unique and are less common than blue and yellow varieties of sapphire. Pink sapphires are supplied to the jewelry market from: The trade name pink sapphire refers to a wide range of colors, ranging from light pink to purple-pink tones. The cost of pink sapphires increases as their brightness increases, which is typical for all fancy sapphires. Natural pink sapphires of varying degrees of color saturation and size can be bought on the market for $900-3000 per carat. The cost of treated pink sapphires is lower, but if the stone is large, clear and bright, then the price will not differ dramatically from unheated pink stones. It is important to note that pure pink sapphires in spectacular pink tones are very rare, so a sample weighing 3-4 carats can already be considered large. Brightly saturated red-pink stones are often valued even higher than their blue counterparts of high jewelry quality. The price of untreated (without heat treatment) large specimens of this tonality reaches tens of thousands of dollars per carat. Access to such samples is usually closed, and you can only purchase these precious stones with a close partner in Sri Lanka, a dealer-guide to the market for investment large sapphires. Our company has such access and can select sapphire of any color with great investment potential.

Our company’s gemologists carefully select minerals, ensuring a high level of stones sold. The cost of samples is based on weight, color, purity and the fact of refining. Most of the yellow sapphires in our catalog are unrefined. To see this jewelry stone and products with it in person, we invite you to visit our boutique in the center of Moscow. In addition to the stones in stock, our team is happy to offer a custom order service. Based on your requirements and budget, we will select the best example of pink sapphire for you. It is important to note that it is quite difficult to select two paired stones that are similar in color tone and other parameters, but for us this is a feasible task. You can also order the manufacture of jewelry with this stone. Today we have one of the best full-cycle jewelry workshops in Moscow. Prices for natural sapphires can vary significantly due to many factors; such as quality of goods, supply and demand, origin, color, size, etc. All variables are the most difficult part of pricing natural sapphires. We all know that sapphire color is king, so whether you want blue, pink, green, white, yellow or a more unusual color, this will play a big role in the price of a natural sapphire. We often hear the question from clients: “How much does a good sapphire cost?” This question is not easy to answer because there are many different varieties and colors of sapphire. Prices also depend on carat weight. However, this is a question worth answering, so we will try to answer it based on our experience in the colored gemstone industry. Pair of natural blue Ceylon sapphires
Click to see more natural Ceylon sapphires Let’s start from the bottom of the market and move up. Most inexpensive sapphires are made into decorative gemstone carvings, as this is what the industry does with lower quality material that is not suitable for faceted or cavitated gemstones. Carvings are typically priced by the piece rather than by carat weight, as the labor required to make them usually exceeds the cost of the material. For carved sapphires, priced by weight, prices typically range from $1 to $5,00 per carat, depending on the quality of the material and whether it has been treated to enhance it, in addition to the craftsmanship, of course. Small sapphire carvings can often be purchased for as little as $10 to $20 each, while larger, high-quality sapphire carvings can cost hundreds to thousands of dollars each. Sapphire cabochons
Click to see the collection The next in order of price are sapphire cabochons. A good-colored material that is not translucent enough for cutting edges is used to create a domed shape known as a cabochon (or cab for short). They are most often found in blue and green, and they are often available in sizes up to 10 or 20 ct. The price per carat for cabochons is generally consistent regardless of size, and we often have them around $10 per carat. They can make very attractive jewelry that has all the benefits of sapphire at a very affordable price. Black Star Sapphire
Click to see our star sapphires Star sapphires are also found in cabochons. Here in Thailand we see several types of star sapphires. . Our hometown in Chanthaburi Province, Thailand produces stunning black sapphires with unique golden rays found nowhere else in the world. We also have blue star sapphires. Blue star sapphires are often treated with titanium diffusion to improve asterism (star effect). Many treated star sapphires in the 1-2 carat range often sell for as little as US$10-20 per carat. Larger stones can command much higher prices, and star sapphires can fetch very high premiums for untreated or heat-treated only. Rare clear star sapphires do exist, but they are found primarily in museums. Orange Songea Sapphire
Click to view more Switching to faceted sapphire, lower priced pieces are usually either small gemstones (less than half a carat) treated with beryllium. Prices for cut sapphires start at around $20-$30 per carat and rise depending on size and color. In gemstones weighing more than 1 carat, pure, beryllium-treated green sapphire usually costs about $75-100 per carat, and yellow and red-orange “Songea sapphire” pieces cost $100-150 per carat. We have noticed that prices for beryllium treated sapphire have increased significantly in recent years. Blue heated sapphire can still cost several hundred dollars per carat, especially clear, well-cut gems over 1 carat. Blue Ceylon sapphire
Click to see our Ceylon sapphires Prices for heated blue sapphire vary greatly depending on color and clarity. Buyers should be prepared to pay at least $300 per carat for clean 1-2 carat stones with good color saturation. Typically, prices for high-quality sapphires weighing more than 2 carats increase significantly. A few years ago we had some excellent 2-2,5 carat blue sapphires for around $400 per carat and recently acquired a 5,09 carat IF grade Madagascar sapphire for around $600 per carat. Over the past few years, heated blue sapphire prices are now at their highest, with stones over 5 carats costing $3000-$5000 per carat; and 2-5 carat gemstones priced at US$1000-3000 per carat, especially blue sapphire from Sri Lanka (Ceylon). Unheated sapphires
Click to see all unheated sapphires It is difficult to give typical market prices for very small unheated sapphires, especially since they are so rare. Several years ago we acquired some outstanding gemstones from the Diego Suarez mine in Northern Madagascar. One piece was a stunning violet-blue color, weighing 2,62 carats and VVS clarity. It was a beautifully cut round-cut stone, a shape that usually commands a high price. We had a price of $965, which was an unusually low price and resulted in a quick sale. The second unheated piece was a 6,33 carat deep blue sapphire with a hint of green and a clarity grade of IF. It cost $5575, which again was an absolute bargain. In general, a small unheated sapphire of any size cannot be found for less than $1000 per carat, especially in this day and age when unheated sapphire of any weight is considered a rarity. In 2016, prices for the same unheated sapphire from Madagascar exceed $1000 per carat, even in bulk. This page in other languages

I have actually done business with them before and was quite pleased with them then. My mother collected turtles, and when I saw a mother-of-pearl turtle. I just thought about it and decided to buy it. It’s even smaller than I thought, but so adorable! The gemstones I bought are for my daughter’s birthday party decorations.
