The length of the largest of them was 12 cm. As a result, the lot was sold for an amount of 250 thousand dollars. Rhodochrosite is quite rare in nature. The largest deposits are located in Argentina and the USA (Colorado). In addition, it is mined in Romania and Hungary, Mongolia, Germany, Russia (Northern Urals, Caucasus and Baikal region).
