Reviews from agronomists about Zircon

“Zircon has long and deservedly been popular among gardeners and flower growers – it is one of the best immunomodulators and growth stimulants,” says agronomist Oleg Ispolatov. – Easy to use and practically harmless to humans and the environment if you follow the rules of use. I would recommend not to exceed the dosage – a maximum of 1 ml per 10 liters of water. And never mix alkaline fertilizers with fertilizers and never try to “save” the solution for more than 24 hours.

Publications often recommend watering plants with Zircon, however, it cannot be used that way.

“The regulations for working with this drug imply only 2 methods of application – spraying on the leaf and soaking the planting material and cuttings,” explains Oleg Ispolatov. – They give a high and stable effect,

Popular questions and answers

How much does it cost and where to buy Zircon for plants?

Zircon can be purchased at almost any gardening store, online stores and garden centers. It is packaged in 1 ml ampoules or 50 ml plastic jars. Summer residents mainly use solutions in ampoules in their work. The price of 1 ml of Zircon ranges from 25 to 80 rubles.

How to use Zircon in the fall?

In autumn, garden plants prepare for a dormant period, so there is no point in using Zircon. But with the cold weather, we begin to bring home indoor plants that spent the summer in the garden. Most gardeners do not have the opportunity to create conditions for a dormant period for indoor plants, but not everyone can create adequate lighting and optimal air humidity in the house. Therefore, plants need immune support, which Zircon can help with.

Which is better: Epin or Zircon?

Both drugs are biostimulants with very similar properties. However, it cannot be said that any of them is better or worse. They also have differences that should be taken into account in order to achieve the greatest effect.

Zircon affects the germination and germination of seeds, rooting of cuttings, and increases plant resistance to disease.

Epin is good for weather stress (hail, frost), when planting in the ground.

During the growth of plants at home and in open ground, there is an inevitable influence of external factors. As a result, the plant can be affected by diseases and insects.

To minimize the impact of unfavorable factors, growth stimulants are needed. They not only protect crops, but also ensure full growth and development, and help the plant recover faster if infection cannot be avoided.

Products from this article

Today, manufacturers offer a wide range of drugs. The biostimulator Zircon has the best characteristics. It is suitable for all types of plants: grown at home, in open ground, in greenhouses. Let’s take a closer look at the characteristics and methods of using the product.

Zircon for flowers, vegetables, fruit trees and shrubs: advantages of use

Zircon is a biologically active drug with a wide spectrum of action; it is used:

· during pre-sowing treatment of seeds and tubers;

· for the protection and better restoration of domestic plants;

· for better adaptation of annual, perennial flowers and seedlings in a new place;

· in caring for coniferous, garden, and vegetable plants.

Using Zircon for indoor plants, as well as in the garden, positive results will not keep you waiting:

· Due to the activation of hemostasis, plants become strong.

· Provides protection against viral and fungal diseases.

· The flowering period of ornamental plants increases.

· The ripening period of fruits, berries, and vegetables is reduced by ten days.

· Yield increases by 30%.

· The taste of fruits improves.

· Garden and indoor plants tolerate unfavorable factors more easily.

· When transplanted, crops take root faster and grow.

Features of using the stimulator

When performing foliar feeding or adding Zircon through watering, it is important to consider that the substance does not contain components that are part of mineral fertilizers: nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus, iron, zinc and other microelements.

A positive effect on photosynthesis is ensured by the action of acids (chicoric, chlorogenic, caftaric) obtained from plants. Ethyl alcohol, which is part of Zircon, increases the activity of organic matter.

An aqueous solution of Zircon, getting into the soil or onto the surface of plants, activates phytohormones, which in turn stimulate the regenerative, restorative and protective function of crops.

Instructions: how to dilute zircon for indoor plants

For treating home flowers and garden crops, the solution is prepared immediately before use. The active components are stored throughout the day. To obtain the solution, use glass jars or plastic buckets. Do not use metal objects (both for storing the solution and for mixing it).

Water for dilution should be at room temperature without chlorine (settled or from a well, well, spring). First, the contents of the ampoule are diluted in 1 liter of water. This will cause air bubbles to appear on the surface. And then, adding water, bring the total volume to 10 liters.

If there are few indoor plants, you can dilute half the ampoule using a medical syringe. And store the rest of the substance in an upright position at a temperature of no more than 25 degrees in a dark place. These storage rules must also be followed when storing new packages.

Rules for using the solution

It is important to use Zircon for indoor flowers, fruit trees and vegetables in the evening, after sunset. Under the influence of ultraviolet radiation, active substances lose effectiveness.

To ensure that the active substances are evenly distributed over the surface of the leaves and stems, Zircon for spraying indoor plants is poured into a spray bottle. Treatment is carried out during the period of active growth of shoots and during the formation of buds.

To treat trees, shrubs, and vegetables, it is more convenient to use a garden sprayer; the treatment is performed:

· Vegetables. When 3-4 true leaves are formed, immediately after planting in open ground (with the seedling method), during the flowering period, during the formation of the ovaries.

· Root vegetables. The treatment is carried out once, after the seedlings reach a height of 10 cm.

· Fruit trees. Leaves and branches are generously sprayed twice during the season: during budding and 2 weeks after flowering. For best effectiveness, the tree must be sprayed generously with the substance, using up to 5 liters of solution for each.

· Berry bushes. The treatment is carried out once per season during the budding period.

It happens that coniferous plants have difficulty adapting to a new place. To relieve stress and speed up the development of the root system, spray frequently, every 2 weeks. It will also be useful to water with the solution once every 14 days.

Using zircon fertilizer for indoor plants, you can also speed up the development of the root system. The procedure is relevant if the flower has been damaged by insect pests or rot has developed as a result of excessive watering. For irrigation, dilute one ampoule of the substance in 10 liters of water.

Zircon is used for soaking seeds and seedlings before planting. Seeds are kept in the solution for no more than 8 hours, and seedlings of trees, shrubs, and perennials are left overnight.

use Features

Zircon can be mixed with many insecticides and fungicides designed to treat and prevent plants from diseases and pests. A sign of compatibility is the absence of sediment. At the same time, the biologically active substance enhances the effect of drugs against diseases and pests.

Therefore, if the manufacturer’s instructions do not contain information regarding compatibility, you can determine it yourself by mixing a small amount of growth stimulator and solution with a chemical substance.

Knowing how to use Zircon for indoor plants and garden crops and performing the treatment, you don’t have to worry about the health of indoor flowers, moreover, you will get a good harvest of delicious vegetables, fruits, and berries.
