Is it possible to wear two stones at once?

We continue the series of articles with Vedic astrologer and numerologist Anna Tyureeva

In India, great importance is attached to stones, jewelry with stones, and there is even such an amulet – Navaratna. Tell us more about it.

  1. Pearls are intended to harmonize the moon;
  2. Emerald harmonizes Mercury;
  3. Ruby harmonizes the Sun;
  4. Diamond for harmonizing Venus;
  5. Red coral harmonizes Mars;
  6. Blue sapphire harmonizes Saturn;
  7. Yellow sapphire harmonizes Jupiter;
  8. Hessonite for harmonizing Rahu;
  9. Cat’s eye to harmonize Ketu.

Types of Navaratna: necklace and ring

It is very important here that the Navaratna includes precisely the precious stones in the order in which I have listed. The stones must be clean, of high quality, without cracks or inclusions. In this case, Navaratna will work more powerfully and the effect of her attitude will be felt immediately.

But lately, very often, both in India and here in Russia, they sell, one might say, fakes, when precious stones are replaced with semi-precious ones. In this case, the effect will no longer be so noticeable, or there may even be some distortion. Therefore, if there is a desire to wear Navaratna, then it should include exactly nine precious stones.

This is a very powerful protective amulet, a powerful decoration, but only if it includes high-quality precious stones.

How to harmonize the energies of the grahas with the help of stones and metals? Let’s look at the example of Mars. The metal of Mars is believed to be copper and the stone is garnet. Let’s say a person has Atmakaraka Mars or he needs to adjust the energies of Mars. Does this mean he needs to carry copper and garnet, or will they only increase his aggressive properties?

A very good question, but also a very difficult one. The selection of stones must be approached with the utmost care, very consciously and carefully, scrupulously analyzing the entire person’s horoscope. You cannot simply take a table, look at the stone or metal of any planet and wear it to harmonize or strengthen this planet, because you can achieve the completely opposite effect.

Let’s look at the example of Mars. If Mars is Lagnesha in the horoscope and rules the first house, then we can strengthen Mars. By strengthening it, we will thereby strengthen the health and vitality of a person. Such a stone will be considered the “stone of life” and should be given preference over other stones. That is, I repeat, if Mars rules your first house, then you can wear Mars stones. These traditionally include red coral, and recently all red stones have been attributed to Mars or the Sun. Mars has darker red rocks, while the Sun has lighter, brighter rocks.

When choosing coral, you need to keep in mind that red coral is quite rare and is a very expensive stone. Mostly on the market now they sell dyed red coral – that is, it was white and was painted. Of course, the effect from it will be completely different than from natural red coral.

But if Mars in your horoscope is in the sixth, eighth, twelfth house, or it rules these houses, or it is in the twelfth house in the sign of Cancer, where it is debilitated – then wearing Mars stones is contraindicated. In this case, they will only increase the negative influence in your life. Instead of a positive effect, they can bring difficulties and problems, including major health problems.

That is, we can wear Mars stones without fear only if our first house is ruled by Aries or Scorpio, because their ruler is Mars.

In all other cases, you need to analyze the horoscope very carefully and thoroughly.

If the first house is ruled by the Moon, then you can wear pearls to enhance your vitality and health.

If the first house is ruled by Mercury, then you can wear an emerald to enhance your health and vitality. And so on.

We can also select stones for the Janma Tithi (lunar day) on which a person was born. Each lunar day is ruled by one of the eight planets (Ketu does not include this). Accordingly, choosing a stone for Janma tithi can protect us from negative influences from the outside.

We can also wear the stones of the lord of the ninth house without fear. The ninth house is considered to be the house of luck and by wearing the stone of this house we can enhance the luck in our life. For example, if the ninth house in our chart is ruled by Jupiter, which is personified by yellow topaz or yellow sapphire, then we can wear this stone to harmonize the ninth house and enhance luck in our life.

Some caveats

  • Do not wear stones from planets hostile to each other

You cannot wear gemstones of planets that are in mutual enmity on one hand at the same time, because this will only worsen the situation. For example, we have the Moon and Saturn in mutual enmity. The Moon stone is pearl, the Saturn stone is blue sapphire. Accordingly, it is advisable not to wear pearls and blue sapphire on one hand. It is also advisable not to wear them on your right and left hands at the same time. Separately – please, together is not recommended.

Another example. Mercury and Mars are in mutual enmity. Therefore, it is not recommended to wear emerald and red coral together, or any other red Mars stone, such as dark garnet.

  • Do not wear stones from planets inimical to the Lagna lord.

If any planet is inimical to the Lagna lord, then wearing its stone is not recommended. And it is also not recommended to read the mantras of this planet, because it can put you in danger and lead to trouble.

For example, the lagna is ruled by the Moon, therefore it is not recommended to wear blue sapphire and it is not recommended to read mantras to Saturn, since the Moon and Saturn are in a hostile position to each other.

October 23, 2018 Rings are one of the most popular and ancient jewelry. They were given magical significance, rituals and ceremonies were performed with them. Rings were used to decorate fingers and emphasize membership in a specific social group. There was a time when it was considered beautiful to wear rings on almost every finger. Today, jewelry etiquette dictates how many rings you can wear on your hand to look stylish.

Jewelry etiquette for women

Elegant rings emphasize the elegance of the fingers, making them more sophisticated. Therefore, women often try to use several of these accessories at the same time. But according to jewelry etiquette, it is recommended to wear no more than three rings at a time. Moreover, if a girl wears an engagement ring or a ring given during her engagement, it is one of the “recommended three.”

When deciding how many rings to wear, keep in mind that too much jewelry can make your look look overwhelming. With an abundance of rings on your hands (especially bright designs), it’s difficult to choose the right clothes for a solid, bright look.

Basic rules of combination:

  • Wide rings with massive stones look best on the middle finger; on the little fingers – thin models without stones or with miniature diamonds.
  • Ring fingers are for wedding rings.
  • Massive products without flashy stones look better on the thumb.
  • The best option for index fingers are models made of jewelry metals with medium-sized stones or original geometric patterns.

Etiquette establishes how many rings can be worn on women’s hands at the same time. It is considered the most correct and attractive to wear two on one hand, as well as one piece of jewelry on the other.

Main restrictions

To make the ring look spectacular, attractive on your finger, and emphasize the elegance of your hand, remember the important recommendations of stylists:

  • decorations on the right and left hands should be in harmony with each other;
  • items on one hand must be made of the same jewelry metal and have stones of the same color;
  • if you prefer accessories made of precious metals, avoid using jewelry at the same time – this combination is considered one of the most unfortunate;
  • costume jewelry is accessories for girls under 20–25 years old; upon reaching this age, it is better to give preference to a small amount of jewelry, but made of precious metals;
  • large models with massive precious stones are great for luxurious evening looks, but look completely out of place during the day;
  • The office is not the best place to display your jewelry collection; it is best to limit yourself to an engagement ring or a thin, elegant model;
  • When putting on several rings, especially large and flashy ones, special attention should be paid to the manicure – it must be impeccable.

How many rings you can wear at the same time also depends on your clothing style. If you love sportswear, loose jeans, and oversized sweaters, a large number of expensive accessories with large precious stones will be inappropriate. The best option would be laconic models in the style of “minimalism”.

How much jewelry can a man wear?

Rings are no less popular among men than among women. But in most cases, they prefer a minimal amount of jewelry. This could be a wedding ring, or several more massive rings.

The best option for men is 2-3 rings, including a wedding ring. These are signets, family heirlooms or family rings with a coat of arms or engraving that has a certain meaning – most often these can only be seen on representatives of famous families.

You should not wear all available accessories at the same time – this is considered bad manners. Men’s jewelry should not be too flashy or pretentious; it is best to choose elegant models with a laconic design. Large, bright models are best left to women.

Rings are one of the most ancient jewelry, popular among both men and women. According to etiquette, moderation should be observed when wearing these accessories. It is best to give preference to several original and expensive items made from precious materials rather than a large amount of cheap jewelry.
