What meat is the healthiest for humans?

No matter what representatives of the ever-growing army of vegetarians say, eating meat is natural for the species Homo sapiens. Proof of this is the presence of fangs among our teeth (herbivores do not have them). Can a person live without meat? Definitely yes. But such a lifestyle will cause a lot of trouble for the body: how, for example, to fully replenish the supply of essential amino acids? What foods can you get iron from? But in Siberian conditions, such a diet is definitely stressful from a physiological point of view. Another thing is that the opposite extreme is an excessive emphasis on meat products. Happy are those who have the opportunity to buy village meat through friends and relatives. The contrast of tastes between such a product and even the most expensive store-bought analogue is obvious. In this sense, the claim of vegetarians that it is better not to eat meat at all than to eat low-quality meat is, alas, true. But if we abstract from the sad truth of life, what type of meat is most beneficial for health? Let’s compare. Dietary (that is, easy to digest) varieties of meat are traditionally classified as veal, chicken and rabbit, as well as turkey meat. This meat does not contain much fat and perfectly restores the body’s need for protein in case of various diseases. Most useful veal and rabbit, since these animals are more difficult to feed poorly throughout their lives, which means that from an environmental point of view, their meat is healthier than poultry meat. Rabbit meat almost never causes allergic reactions, so it is suitable even for feeding small children suffering from intolerance to various types of animal proteins. Which meat is healthier – pork or lamb?

Pork may be especially beneficial for those who need more energy due to increased physical activity, as well as people suffering from anorexia. Among all types of meat, lamb is the richest in iron. It also contains a lot of potassium, magnesium, iodine and lecithin, which is involved in the metabolism of cholesterol in the body. Lamb meat generally has a low fat content compared to other types of meat. This makes it lighter and more nutritious, which is especially important for those watching calorie intake. Beef is rich in high-quality protein, which is the main building material for tissue and muscles. The amino acids in beef promote the formation of new cells and the “repair” of damage in tissues. This product also contains a lot of minerals, iron and zinc, B vitamins, as well as E and PP. Horse meat helps normalize metabolism, neutralizes the damaging effects of radiation and reduces cholesterol levels. Horse meat is considered hypoallergenic.
